Home - made Tomato Rasam Powder, prepared with good quality Karavali (coastal Karnataka) organic spices. Used in preparation of Tomato Rasam – well known for its simplicity, flavor and taste.
To prepare an awesome bowl of Tomato Rasam:
1. Boil half liter water along with half teaspoon of Turmeric Powder and freshly chopped tomato pieces thoroughly with jaggery and salt. Add Sanchya Tomato Rasam powder and heat for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
2. To add Tadka (Optional): Heat 2 teaspoon of oil, and to it add 1 red chilli, 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek, half teaspoon mustard, curry leaves, and a pinch of asafetida (hing). Add tadka to the preparation and stir well.
