Multi -Purpose Sambar Powder is a south Indian style, hygienically blended spice powder, made with choicest of aromatic Karavali (coastal Karnataka) organic spices. It packs in it nutritional greatness of ground coriander, cumin, mustard, black peppercorn, red chilies, fenugreek, and other spices, enriched with protein of chana dal. Multi - purpose sambar powder can be used for preparing all kinds of south Indian curries and gravies.
SUGGESTED PREPARATION USING MULTI PURPOSE SAMBAR POWDER
1. Soak 100g of Toor Dal for 30 minutes and boil it with vegetable of choice (Example: Drumstick, Brinjal, Pumpkin, etc.). Add onion to taste (optional).
2. Add 2 tbsp of Tamarind juice, 2 tbsp of Chili powder, and salt as per requirement. Add 2 heaped teaspoon of Sanchya Multi - Purpose Sambar Masala. Remove from flame and serve hot.
3. To add Tadka (optional): Heat 2 teaspoon of oil and to it add 1 red chili, 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek, half teaspoon mustard, curry leaves, a pinch of asafetida (hing). Add this to freshly made Sambar (as per suggested preparation) and boil for 2-3 min.
